About US

The district's schools rest on two sites. Helen Haller Elementary, the Olympic Peninsula Academy (a parent partnership program for K-12), Sequim Middle School and Sequim High School including

Sequim Options School) occupy a 60-acre campus within the City of Sequim. A second elementary school, Greywolf Elementary, is located on approximately twenty acres, three miles west of Sequim near Carlsborg. The total district population surpasses 26,000 with many people living in housing developments scattered about the area. Sequim, a community of 6,066 (according to 2010 Census) citizens within the city limits, offers most of the conveniences needed by its residents.

Sequim's public schools have an excellent reputation for high academic standards, excellent discipline, and strong activity programs. Standardized test scores remain consistent, graduates do well in college and vocational schools, music programs produce state level participants, and athletic teams compete consistently well in all sports.

More than 350 full-time and part-time certified and classified staff members serve the district's student population of 2,700, grades K-12, plus Running Start.
