OUR PURPOSE

The Human Resources office of Sequim School District exists to support the goals and challenges of Sequim School District by providing services that promote a work environment characterized by fair treatment of staff, open communications, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect.


ABOUT THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

The Human Resources Department partners with various District departments, school administrators and employee union groups to recruit, select, develop and manage a highly skilled workforce in support of educational services and student achievement.

The District currently employs approximately 280 certificated personnel and 190 classified personnel. We are always seeking creative, dynamic and hard-working individuals to join our team in our quest to provide excellent educational services to the Sequim student and parent community.



Certificated Employment 
encompasses positions that require an appropriate certificate (e.g. teacher, counselor, speech therapist, psychologist or school administrator).

Classified Employment 
encompasses positions such as: clerical, custodial, grounds, maintenance, fiscal services, instructional support and information technology.
